"Wild Things" Titanis Series T5 16"H x 24"L x 7"W Sandcast Glass with Cast Glass Inclusions, Steel Stand The casting is based on the skull of a giant extinct bird, "Titanis Walleri" which roamed the South- and Central-American land masses when the first humans appeared in the hemisphere. Their skeletons have been found as far north as Florida and this casting is approximately life size. The composition of figures inside the casting is taken in its entirety from a petroglyph panel in Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. |
